Flying to Spain

We got up at 4 this morning, it was Isla's first look at the moon and stars! We went to the airport with not much time to spare (will leave slightly more time on our next trip) and had a good flight. Isla loved looking out the window on take off and then was occupied with stickers and books as well as having a little sleep.

We arrived at Alicante airport and she had fun running around the place while we waited for our bags.

 Then we picked up the car and drove to the villa with a stop off at Mas-y-mas for supplies.

Isla had her first proper look at the pool after lunch.

 Then we all tried out the pool properly!

She had great fun with the tractor and plane toys. Sun loungers make great ramps!

Time for another swim before dinner:

Isla decided she could use a cup herself. It worked well for drinking, but she got a bit overzealous with her 'cheers' touching glasses round the table which is more tricky with an open cup!

After dinner, Andrew and Isla went off round the garden several times to explore. They found an olive and a lemon amongst other things! Then it was time for a quick drink before bed.
