Halloween and Camping Trip

Hello!
Here are some photos from the last month or so.

Isla was invested in scouts. She is enjoying playing games and doing crafts at Joeys. One week they made damper bread on a campfire.

Isla and Evie were witches at Halloween. We went trick or treating around some very spooky houses and played at the park with people from school and kindy.

Evie graduated from kindergarten. She collected a certificate from her teacher and then the class all danced the 'Wombat Wobble' for us:

In October there was a triathlon in our town. We watched some of the run, which was near our house. Evie stuck out her hand and high-fived some of the competitors to keep their morale up.

Isla has been testing our pool water:

There was a disco at school that Isla and Evie both went to:

Evie went up a level at swimming a couple of weeks ago. She rang the bell and everyone at the pool clapped for her. She is now in the dolphin group.

Isla was a wise woman in the school nativity play.

Evie made a beautiful crown to wear:

We went camping one weekend:

We had a bike ride around the corner from our house and saw some camels and a water buffalo! The circus had come to town for a couple of weeks.

Isla and Evie did some drawings of our sailing boat:

Rock climbing at the national park:

Decorating the Christmas tree:

Evie drew a couple of pictures at kindy this week. One is the basilisk with Harry Potter fighting it and the phoenix helping, the other is Harry Potter playing quidditch and trying to catch the snitch:

Sailing in the Whitsundays

Flying to Proserpine, about 1 hr from rainy Brisbane:

At Abell Point Marina, finding our boat, Wazabi, for the week:

Nara Inlet, aboriginal cave paintings:

Langford reef, batfish and a turtle!

Whitehaven Beach for Andrew's birthday:

Cataran Bay on Border Island. We did some snorkelling from our tender and saw a lot of giant clams and a turtle too.

A sea snake we spotted out in the ocean:

Sunrise in Stonehaven bay. Lots of large tuna or mackerel kept leaping out of the water. We saw some flying fish too.

Back on dry land again!
