A Life on the Ocean Wave

Hello!

We had an exciting adventure last week. After flying from Brisbane to Proserpine, we took a bus to Coral Sea Marina at Airlie Beach and boarded a catamaran to explore the Whitsunday Islands!

Here are some photos from our adventure on the high seas! ARRRRRR!

Oh actually this was Nippers before our holiday:

Whitehaven Beach, looking at Seastar:

A meal out on Andrew's birthday before we set sail:

A turtle coming up for air:

Evie became even more piratey by losing her front tooth during our voyage!

Ninjas boarded our vessel:

Back at the marina, unloading our luggage:

Some spookiness last night for Halloween. We had an exceptionally spooky evening with a big storm rumbling over. The power went out, we looked for torches, then spotted about forty baby huntsman spiders had taken over our hallway and were scuttling over the walls and ceiling to escape the rain. Isla and Evie were pleased the spiders had vanished this morning, and our power was back on for playing computer games.

Back to the Whitsundays again!

Did we already have this one? Can't have too many photos of Whitehaven beach anyway.

Corals on the Great Barrier Reef recovering from the cyclone a couple of years ago. We also saw some fish in the coral and in the sand including a huge Moray Eel hiding under our tender at Butterfly Bay.
