Knee ballet and a millipede

Over the last couple of weeks, Isla and Evie have had both sets of grandparents to visit, which has been brilliant! Evie has had her second tooth pop through and is generally happy with the world. She has been balancing on her knees in a very precarious way, and can shuffle across the room by doing her special 'knee ballet'! 

Isla enjoys asking me all about the road signs when we are out in the car. It is a bit like having an advanced driving test with her in the back at the moment, asking what each sign means. She now tells me when there is a junction and a sharp bend coming up and has pointed out lots of signs that I have never noticed on our drives locally!

We made ginger biscuits (bird shapes, little people and a snake) and also fairy cakes with pink icing:
