Isla is four.... ROAR!!!

We went for a long walk on Monday, with Isla on her balance bike and Evie in the double buggy. Starting off at the park for some pine cone hunting and playing with a huge stick, we went down the hill to find sheep, horses being prepared for riding, and some big sleepy pigs.

On Tuesday Isla went to preschool and was the star person at getting changed for PE which she was very proud of.

On Wednesday, Isla had her second swimming lesson ever. She was really brave and went in the pool by herself and did lots of floating on her back and back kicking. She was the last one out the pool after a bit of playing at the end. We went to Wagamamas to celebrate.

On Thursday, Isla turned four. She had been really excited about having her birthday but she was ill and so didn't have a great day after all. Here is some of her birthday food which her brilliant friends C and D helped us eat:

On Friday, Isla stayed in her pyjamas all day and was still ill but getting a bit better. She even managed to open the presents from her friends and to cast a few spells with her sister. She blew out her candles on her dinosaur cake a couple of times too!

On Saturday, we went on a mini adventure with Daddy. We visited a couple of shops, including a petshop, and were lucky enough to see Peppa Pig walking down the street and stopped for a chat!

On Sunday, we went for a relaxing bike ride along the Bristol to Bath Cycle Path. We stopped at a river and a park and I got to try out my brilliant new bike. It was such a smooth ride that Evie fell asleep on the back towards the end. We saw steam trains on the Bitton railway line and lots of dogs.
