Moving House

Wow, what a week! We got the keys to our new house, were properly reunited with Pob and Monty, and got all our belongings back after their big trip on the container ship.

But first....

A windy trip to Sunshine Beach, with Noosa National Park in the background:

Isla, Evie and I watched a rainbow growing in the sky over the houses at Sunrise Beach:

We visited a fair at a local school:

The cats and the girls had a good look around our new house:

Then a container arrived:

All of our furniture arrived intact, although getting the piano off the truck was very tricky and I couldn't watch! Customs had looked in at our vacuum cleaner, our pressure washer and some outdoor chairs and passed all of our belongings as clean enough for Australian habitation. We are slowly unpacking all of our things, with a huge hunt for the cutlery before we could eat proper dinners. The cutlery had ended up being the last thing packed up in the UK and was in with the board games of course!

After putting together huge amounts of furniture and fitting numerous Aussie plugs onto our appliances, Andrew had to go to work today. Here he is with the girls, all wearing their back packs ready to start the day:
