The End of 2020 and a Quarter of 2021.....already?!?!!

 Hello!
It's already the end of March and the beginning of Autumn here. It's still pretty warm but very grey and rainy for the last week or so.

Here's a look back at Christmas 2020.

A blue-tongue lizard visited our garden a lot this summer. He enjoyed eating fruit we put out:

Andrew got his pilot's licence this year!

Flocks and flocks of bats have been flying over at 5.30 each evening:

It was Mum and Dad's Golden Wedding Anniversary in January! A very special day.

The wildlife at university:

We visited Australia Zoo at the end of the Summer holidays. All of the Irwins: Terri, Bindi and Robert, were feeding the crocs!

Some of the summer flowers in the garden:

A flight to Antartica:

In the middle of February I had the opportunity to visit Tasmania. Flying there involved a lot of mask-wearing, which was a little different as we don't need to wear masks here at all.

Sandy Bay, Hobart:

The boats to MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) owned by David Walsh

Mt Wellington looks over Hobart:

The view from the Research Station in Tasmania:

Back in Noosa, so time for some bike rides, a camping trip and some birthdays to celebrate:

Isla's birthday dinner by the river:

We took some friends to an Escape Room to celebrate Isla turning 10. They managed to escape before the Alien's attacked thank goodness! And with six minutes to spare...!

This week, I helped teams of Year 10 students to design and build hovercrafts as a STEM engagement activity at work. Here's one of the best:

Evie lost another bottom tooth! and turned into a goblin
