Block Building Championships

Isla and I visited Bath today. We had a mid morning snack amongst the tourists, guitar playing buskers and human statues outside the Abbey when it was quite warm and fairly summery. Then it suddenly became Autumnal and tipped down! One of us was fine in the buggy, the other one got soaked!!

After rushing back home to let a painter in and have a lovely nap, the World Block Tower Building Championships started in the living room arena.

The first tower was going so well...... but alas

it fell down.

The second tower almost beat the world record height....

But again it fell down......!

The spectators were excited about the competition

 

.....the main contestant decided to try a new strategy

which stunned the judges

....and finally the winner adopted a new stance to obtain the world record in block building!!!

The prize was a yoghurt for dessert that evening... yum yum yum
