Piggies oink oink

On Thursday morning, we toddled off to Toddler's Group for a couple of hours after saying goodbye to 'Ham' and 'Neen' as Isla calls them (a.k.a. Sam and Janine). We really enjoyed having them to stay! Isla played with the car box at toddler group, finding tractors and trains, and also had a look at some books. Later on, some of the older children managed to completely empty the book shelves and hide all the books under the slide.....there was a lot of tidying up at the end of the session! Isla met up with her little friend Lennox who she hadn't seen in ages and I'm sure they'll play together again soon. He also loves tractors.

After lunch, we went for a walk around the fields with the buggy and Isla dozed off. Here are some photos from our walk:

In the afternoon, we went for another walk but this time to visit the pig and her piglets. Isla was on my back in the carrier so it was tricky to get a good photo of her but here are some attempts!

She loved being on my back as she has a great view of everything. She liked watching the piglets having their milk and kept signing to tell me later on that the piglets had been having milk!

Friday morning, we had breakfast whilst waiting..... and waiting....... and waiting........ for the builders to finally turn up! Then we went off to rhyme time at the library where we met another Isla from the next town. Later on, Isla helped with the laundry and then played football with the builder's son in the garden while they finished off (nearly!). She enjoyed 'dum dums' (poppadoms) with her chicken biryani in the evening.
